On 10th March 2019, the Fair Isle bird Observatory was destroyed by fire and since then there has been an extensive fundraising effort to rebuild it, with a hoped for opening date in 2023.

If you’ve ever visited the island, have an interest in nature or are even just a pin badge collector, please consider buying one of these pin badges (or even 2!!)
